In the early metagame of Smash 4, CaptainZack was a solo-Peach player. Despite his young age, he quickly established himself as one of the strongest players in his region, where he consistently placed top 2 at local monthlies. Although he made a few appearances nationally, he still saw passable results, notably placing 33rd at CEO 2015 and taking sets off of players such as Seagull Joe and 8BitMan.
The results with Peach, however, would be no match to his later results. Following Bayonetta's release as a DLC character, CaptainZack, being a fan of the character, decided to pick her up. Although his first tournament with her, CEO 2016, ended in disappointment, he saw his first top 8 placement at a national at Clutch City Clash, where he defeated Fatality and Mew2King, ultimately placing 4th. This placement, however, was overshadowed by his out-of-region breakout tournament at 2GGT: Abadango Saga, where he upset Larry Lurr to ultimately place 9th. This run, along with other fantastic placements such as 17th at The Big House 6 and 7th at UGC Smash Open and as subsequent wins over other top players such as Dabuz and ESAM, helped him debut at 20th place on the Panda Global Rankings v2.
However, in the third season, CaptainZack challenged Salem's title. CaptainZack started the season strong, placing 4th at GENESIS 4, defeating ANTi, komorikiri, and Abadango, as well as 5th at Frame Perfect Series 2, defeating kameme and Ranai. His best tournament run, however, was at 2GGC: Civil War, one of the most stacked tournaments in Smash 4 history, where he defeated kameme, Marss, and Mr.R, en route to a 4th place finish. His outstanding performance outshined Salem's initial results, who placed lower than CaptainZack at all three tournaments. Although Salem later caught up in the second half of the season, culminating in a 2nd place finish at 2GGC: Nairo Saga, the damage was already done: by the end of the season, CaptainZack was ranked 7th, while Salem was ranked 4 places lower at 11th.
As Ultimate rolled around, many people noted the severe nerfs Bayonetta received during the transition that hindered her KO power and notorious combo game. As a result, many of her best players, most notably Salem and Tweek, dropped Bayonetta in favor of other characters. Despite the nerfs, CaptainZack continued to play Bayonetta, and placed 17th at Let's Make Moves and 49th at Glitch 6. These results, while decent, were nevertheless a far cry from CaptainZack's performance throughout most of Smash 4.
In hopes of changing things around, CaptainZack prioritized the superior character Peach and her echo Daisy, and initially saw some success, placing 9th at the first supermajor of the year, GENESIS 6. This success, however, did not last very long, and CaptainZack placed outside of top 32 at next three national tournaments he attended. Seeing how focusing on Peach and Daisy wasn't helping him, CaptainZack returned his attention to Bayonetta, and saw some of the best results of his Ultimate career, including 17th at MomoCon 2019 and 13th at Smash 'N' Splash 5 before ending off the season at a disappointing yet familiar 33rd at CEO 2019.

Does a larger concentration of fish attract more predators One study looked at kelp perch and their common predator, the kelp bass. The researcher set up four large circular pens on sandy ocean bottoms off the coast of southern California. He chose young perch at random from a large group and placed 10, 20, 40, and 60 perch in the four pens. Then he dropped the nets protecting the pens, allowing bass to swarm in, and counted the perch left after 2 hours. Here are data on the proportions of perch eaten in four repetitions of this setup.
While Zero Suit Samus would initially be considered to be among the best characters in the game, she would receive further nerfs to her neutral aerial, Flip Jump and Boost Kick while new DLC characters such as Pyra & Mythra, and other buffed characters such as Cloud, Diddy Kong and Bayonetta would prove to be troublesome matchups for her resulting in her dropping off on the tier list to a mere high tier. Even with the decline, she is still considered to be a viable character who has seen great results and decent representation in tournaments thanks to the likes of Marss.
In the end, Zero Suit Samus remains a high-risk, high-reward character whose learning curve is even higher than in SSB4, with a wider and more intricate array of neutral, combo and punish options, as opposed to her more polarized kit in SSB4 that necessitated a more linear gameplan. Much like Mario, Fox, and Sonic, and in contrast to how other former SSB4 top tier characters were nerfed much more dramatically, Zero Suit Samus continues to be an effective character; while Juice and even moreso Marss have been highly successful with ZSS in the Western tournament scene, her perception is even more favorable in Japan, with multiple players including Choco and Kuro finding notable tournament success with her. Due to Marss' dominance with the character, Zero Suit Samus was widely regarded as a top-tier or upper high-tier character once again, and has been one of the most successful fighters in Ultimate relative to her low representation. This is taken even further in Japan, where she was frequently regarded as one of the best characters in the game, if not the best. However, she is now considered to be a high tier after the COVID-19 pandemic due to the nerfs she received, a noticeable decline in results, and an increase in bad matchups.
As the meta advanced, many dedicated players such as Kuro, Choco, Juice, and Marss have achieved outstanding tournament results with her, which was helped by nerfs to her most difficult matchups such as Pichu and Olimar. Particularly, Marss has dominated with the character, defeating players such as MkLeo, Samsora, Nairo, Dabuz, Light, ESAM, and Maister, while also being able to consistently make it to Top 8 at premier tournaments, even winning GENESIS 7. As a result, Zero Suit Samus' reception has been considerably better, being a top-tier character in the general consensus, as stated by professionals such as ZeRo, Mew2King and Dabuz. Maister even claims she is the best character in the game. Zero Suit Samus' representation is very strong in Japan, and a large number of top Japanese players consider her to be the best as well.
However, her reputation fell after she received considerable nerfs. These nerfs include more landing lag to her neutral air, more start-up lag to Boost Kick, and a shorter bury duration to Flip Jump. Some players such as Dabuz, ESAM, and even Marss and shky claim that these nerfs are substantial enough for her to no longer be top 10. As such, her results have dwindled significantly with many of her best players no longer being able to reach the same heights they did before or outright dropping the character. Currently, her tier placement is debatable, but it is still widely agreed that she is at least high tier which resulted in her being placed 26th on the first Ultimate tier list.

Considering that cash crops can displace food crops, the revival of cocoa farming has raised food security concerns [12], yet there is lack of empirical evidence needed to authenticate such concerns in the context of the FSTZ. To fully understand the food security of cocoa households in the FSZ, it is important to examine the intersecting role of crop diversification. This is because the revival of cocoa farming in the FSTZ typically follows a semi-subsistence model: food crop production still remains a significant source of sustenance and income for smallholder households diversifying into cocoa farming [2]. Moreover, climatic changes in the FSTZ have become conducive for cashew [43], causing many cocoa farmers to also diversify towards cashew production [2, 63]. Despite ample evidence that crop diversification is potentially effective for managing income and food security risks [6, 15, 45], research is lacking in the context of cocoa farming in the FSTZ. Previous studies have disproportionately focused on potential displacement of cocoa by cashew [2, 63] and food crops [72], while knowledge of potential complementarities between cocoa, cashew and food crops in determining the income and food security of smallholder households in the zone remains deficient. In addition, some studies (e.g., [11, 16, 67]) have emphasised the importance of land availability for staple food crop production in enhancing the food security of cash crop households, but quantitative evidence is lacking in this regard.
The multiple and multinomial regression results further imply that the positive relationship observed between cocoa farming and household food security goes beyond crop income; diversification into cashew, displacement of food crops with cocoa, and socioeconomic factors such as land ownership, livestock ownership, and formal education are additional determining factors. The positive influence of education is consistent with the literature that formal education of the household head enhances food security [1, 8, 13, 45, 47, 50, 80]. Given that primary education forms the foundations of learning and understanding [69], educated household heads probably had greater capacity to understand and apply essential information [11, 65] for improved productivity. The positive finding on land ownership also agrees with previous studies [9, 38, 58]. It is further justified by empirical evidence that land tenure security promotes adoption of sustainable agricultural practices [49, 60], which can translate into improved productivity [48] and food security [50]. Another plausible reason is that multiplicity of farmlands allowed households to allocate separate lands to cocoa farming without undermining their production-based entitlements. However, the proportion of land allocated to cocoa has been shown to influence food security negatively [10], but that could not be examined due to lack of reliable data on land size. For the same reason, land size was not also factored into our analyses despite empirical evidence that increasing land size influences household food security positively [8, 50] 59ce067264
